Welcome

Our bee huts are built above screened-in honeybee hives

The happy honeybees are separated from the interior of the hut with double-layered, stainless steel screen covered with wood paneling

This design allows the tone, vibration and hive air to flow freely into the hut

while keeping our honeybee friends out

Flying Around a Beehive 2

Sound

The hum of an active honeybee hive is in the satisfying tone of middle key of C.

This key is associated with relaxation and calm.

Spending time in a bee hut is being studied as a potential treatment for trauma and stress- induced disorders including PTSD.

Vibration

The low-frequency hum emitted by the bees creates a vibroacoustic massage effect in the mind and body.

The hum activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes a state of calm and reduces stress by lowering cortisol levels.

Hive Air

Fragrant hive air is filled with organic volatile compounds (OVC) including terpenes, phenolic acids and flavonoids with potential for antimicrobial and antioxidant action in the body.

Hive air may support respiratory function, immune support and and injury recovery.
